Ripley’s believe-it-or-not story is a long one. He literally met me at my doorstep on a rainy day 1 month ago, wet, dirty & tired. He’s come a long way since and has further to go on his amazing journey – next stop being a forever home. Ripley is FIV+ and needs a home with either another FIV+ feline or no other felines at all (which he’d prefer since he wants a human all to himself). Ripley also is being treated for a herpes infection in both eyes with the right eye badly affected, causing near blindness. But he is – again amazingly – healing! With a continuation of the excellent medical care he has been receiving Ripley will have only some scarring. The important stuff: Ripley is about 2 years old, a big, beautiful, affectionate, playful & energetic cat who wants activity & fun. His game of mouse hockey is top notch. He loves tummy rubs and chin scratching. Ripley is also very smart. In total, Ripley will make an amazing and fun friend and companion for a person or family with the desire to give a wonderful animal a home and the ability to give him the medical care he needs (& deserves). In return he will be a loyal and thankful kitty companion. Ripley has been neutered and tested negative for FeLV.
